Roger has held leadership and fundraising roles in a number of not-for-profit and senior housing organizations. He is an active member of the Durham Region Association of Realtors and a current member of their communication committee. He also holds memberships in the Durham Region Association of Realtors Commercial Council, the Canadian Commercial Council, the Ontario Real Estate Association and Canadian Real Estate Association.

As a first term city councillor Roger looks forward to working with council to make our city even better. He desires to be part of a council that works well together, intentionally plans for our city’s future, actively promotes our city and all that it has to offer, and manages the business of the city well. Roger believes that you deserve a council that remembers that every dollar they spend is a dollar that you first earned and then entrusted to the city to spend wisely.

When Roger is not working or volunteering he enjoys spending time with his wife and their grown children. You might also spot him running on one of Oshawa’s paved trails.
